Classification by drive method of screw conveyor
1. When the length of the U-type screw conveyor is less than 35m, it is a single-shaft driven screw.
2. When the length of the U-type screw conveyor is greater than 35m, it is a dual-shaft driven screw.

Classification by material of screw conveyor
1. Ordinary carbon steel U-type screw conveyor - mainly suitable for industries such as cement, coal, stone, etc., where wear is significant and there are no special requirements for materials.
2. Stainless steel U-type screw conveyor - mainly suitable for industries such as grain, chemical, and food that have requirements for the conveying environment. It offers high cleanliness, does not contaminate materials, and has a long service life, but the cost is relatively high.

The U-type screw conveyor is a type of screw conveyor that primarily utilizes the rotation of a screw shaft with spiral blades to generate relative movement of materials along the spiral surface. The materials, subjected to friction from the trough or conveyor tube wall, do not rotate with the screw, thereby axially pushing the materials forward to achieve material conveyance.
